Sharks, Hippos, Crocs… oh my!

Never did I imagine I’d be warned about encountering all of the above creatures with a quick swim in the Indian Ocean!  We were not afraid; we were ready to conquer the Indian Ocean!  Unfortunately the towels were forgotten by the guides. Who cares about getting dry after all the air temperature is in the low 70’s, mostly cloudy with a cool breeze.  We can do this!  Michael and I decided to change into our swimsuits and go for it!  We ran enthusiastically into the water.  The water was quite chilly for us Atlantic swimming people.  My Pacific swimming friends would have thought the 75 degree water temperature was wonderful!

Only one more ocean left … my guess is I’ll definitely want to have a towel when I swim in the Arctic Ocean!  #3✔
